[Update: AT&T too] Verizon and Sprint rolling out January security patch for Galaxy S8 and S8+

AT&T is also getting January update.

Earlier this month, Sprint and Verizon have already pushed an update for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ but the mobile carrier now been pushing the second update in the same month that comes with the latest security patch.

This update brings the January 2019 Security patch that provides fixes to 4 latest Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items.

The Galaxy S8 and S8+ on Verizon and Sprint receiving this update as build versions G950/G955USQU5CSA4. If you want to check this update manually, head into Settings > System updates > Check for system updates or you can simply wait till the update automatically appears on your phone.

Samsung recently kicked off the One Ui beta program for Unlocked Galaxy S8 and S8+ in the US and the stable version of the One UI for carrier locked device is expected to be rolled out in February 2019 after it comes to Galaxy S9 and Note9 devices.
