While the unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note8 receiving One UI beta update, Note 8 on Sprint is now receiving its second update in the same month that comes with the latest security patch.
This update brings the January 2019 security patch that provides fixes to 4 latest Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items.
The Galaxy Note 8 on Sprint is receiving this update as build version N950USQS5CRL1. If you want to check this update manually, head into Settings > System updates > Check for system updates or you can simply wait till the update automatically appears on your phone.
It possible that other mobile carrier may also roll out this update soon as the stable version of the One UI for carrier locked Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be rolled out in February 2019 One it is installed in the Galaxy S9 and Note9 devices.
