Although, other major mobile carriers in the US have already pushed the Android P update for Galaxy S9 devices and now we can say, Finally, T-Mobile has also started the rollout of Android Pie for These devices.
The latest software update for the S9 and S9+ brings Android 9.0 Pie OS, Samsung’s ‘One UI’ features and user interface, and the January 2019 security patch with various bug fixes.
Moreover, T-Mobile has added RCS Universal Profile 1.0 support to this update. With the RCS services, users can send an attachment file up to 100 MB directly via message and allows users to open group chat with up to 100 participants.
Also, it allows group chat enhancements along with geolocation sharing to easily share your location without leaving your native messaging app.
The Galaxy S9 and S9+ on T-Mobile are receiving this update as build version G960USQU3CSAB and G965USQU3CSAB respectively. If you want to check this update manually, head into Settings > Software update.
As T-Mobile has started this rollout, there are chances that it’ll soon start the rollout of Android 9.0 Pie for Galaxy Note9.
Note: After updating to Android 9.0 Pie/One UI, some apps, including Calculator, Samsung Internet, Samsung Health, Samsung Notes, Samsung Members, and Samsung Pay, need to be updated individually.
