Samsung is set to announce its next smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch Active 2, alongside the Galaxy Note 10 smartphone next month.
According to the Wareable, there will be three variants of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 smartwatch: an LTE model, a Bluetooth-only model, and an Under Armour-branded Bluetooth version.
This won’t be the first time a Samsung smartwatch will include heart rate tracking, but previous watches like the Galaxy Watch Active and Galaxy Watch have only included less accurate light-based optical trackers. In contrast, electrocardiogram (ECG) trackers measure electrical signals, which are more accurate and also open up the possibility for them to detect health conditions.
The LTE model will come with a stainless steel case, a leather strap, and four color variants, black, silver, gold and a rose gold case. The rose gold and pink will be the only model that’s only available in the 40mm size.
