Samsung has started pre-orders for the Galaxy Tab S4 tablet in South Korea ahead of the official release slated for later this month.
The Galaxy Tab S4, available in Wi-Fi and long-term evolution (LTE) versions, will come with two different storage capacities: 64GB and 256GB.
The 64 GB Wi-Fi model is available for 792,000 won (US$696) and the 256 GB one for 891,000 won. The LTE editions are roughly 100,000 won higher.
The Galaxy Tab S4 comes with 6 GB of RAM and a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED. With a whopping 7,300 mAh battery, Samsung said such features make the tablet PC especially suitable for users in favor of gaming content. Other notable features include a four-speaker sound system, which utilizes the technology of AKG, a brand of Harman International Industries Inc., a Samsung affiliate.
The product is equipped with 13-megapixel and 8-megapixel cameras. The company added the tablet can also connect to larger monitors through the Samsung DeX system.
The official launch is scheduled for Aug. 29 in South Korea.
