Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge’s US variants certified for Android Oreo update, hinted nearby rollout

Samsung started the rollout of Android Oreo update with Galaxy S8 duo then moved to Galaxy Note 8. Now Samsung could finally go full throttle on Oreo update for Galaxy S7 and S7 edge as more S7 and S7 Edge variants certified by Wi-Fi alliance with the Android 8.0 Oreo OS.

The Wi-Fi Alliance has now cleared multiple variants of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge with Android 8.0 Oreo, indicating the nearby Oreo rollout. All five major carrier variants have been certified including T-mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint as well as the unlocked phones. there are other variants that been also certified by Wi-Fi Alliance.

A few weeks ago both company variants were certified by Wi-Fi alliance with the Android Oreo. Recently Samsung Turkey also changed its Oreo rollout date for Galaxy S7 and S7 edge to April 27, which is kinda fair to delay the rollout of US variants but it could be anything. As of all of the Galaxy S7 user waiting for this update release, this might be the end of their long waiting.
