Samsung partners with Spotify:
Samsung announced that it has partnered with Spotify. The Spotify app will appear on Samsung devices, allowing users to listen to their playlists. This isn’t just on phones – it’s also on Samsung TVs and the new speaker.
Daniel Ek, CEO of Spotify, said: “In the future, we expect deeply integrated Spotify experiences on Samsung devices.”
Galaxy Home speaker featuring Bixby:
Samsung has unveiled a smart speaker called Galaxy Home, that features the firm’s smart assistant, Bixby. The speaker has a circular design that sends sound in every direction.
You can also choose which way the sound is directed, by asking the speaker: “Hey Bixby, play music this way.”
Bixby smart assistant:
The Galaxy Note 9 features Bixby – Samsung’s smart assistant. The smart assistant was happy to suggest concerts and restaurants in Brooklyn, when asked for ideas.

Galaxy Watch helps you track your health:
Samsung revealed that the Galaxy watch is perfect for tracking your health. It can monitor your baseline heart rate, and alert you if this changes, giving you tips to bring it back to normal.
It can also help you track your exercise, and the Galaxy watch will automatically detect the type of workout you’re doing. The Galaxy watch also tracks your sleep patterns, telling you how much ‘quality rest’ you get each night.
Samsung announces new Galaxy smartwatch: Samsung has announced that it is launching a new Galaxy smartwatch.
With a signature circular bezel and rotating design, the smartwatch resembles a normal watch. There are over 60,000 watch faces to choose from.
S Pen details: The new S Pen comes with connectivity for the first time ever.
Using Bluetooth support, the S Pen can be used to take selfies, present slides and play and pause videos. The tip is finer, making it feel like a natural writing tool.
A Samsung spokesperson revealed that he’s actually been controlling the presentation using an S-Pen.
Galaxy Note 9 Camera revealed:
The Galaxy Note 9 features an Intelligent Camera system. Key features include scene optimisation and flaw detection.
A spokesperson for Samsung demonstrated the camera on stage, using the S Pen to take it.
Fortnite Mobile has arrived:
Tim Sweeney, the CEO of Epic Games. He revealed that the Fortnite beta will launch on Android this week – with Galaxy Note 9 the first to gain access.
A special ‘Galaxy’ skin has also been launched to celebrate the Galaxy Note 9 launch.
Galaxy Note 9 will be available in four colors:
The smartphone will be available in Ocean Blue, Lavender, Black and Metallic Copper.

The event is taking place in Brooklyn, New York, in front of over 3,000 people.
