Samsung Galaxy M40 gets new software update

Samsung has started rolling out a new software update for its Galaxy M40. The new firmware adds camera improvements and also betters facial recognition. The software update package also includes Android June Security patch along with several other bug fixes.

The software update includes a new Blue light filter as well.. Users can download it manually by heading to Software update section in the Settings app.

As per the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy M40 has a 6.3-inch Full HD PLS TFT display. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset. The device has 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. There is a 32MP + 8MP +5MP triple-camera at the back with 4K video recording and a 16MP camera at the front with Full HD video recording. The Galaxy M40 has a 3500mAh battery with 15W fast charging. There is also a USB Type-C port, dual-VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner
