It was reported that Samsung'sFoldable phone may not come with 5G network support but a new report suggests that there's another variant of the foldable phone feature 5G.
According to SamMobile, The Foldable phone (SM-F907N) will be bounded with South Korean mobile carriers which is a 5G version of this device. Mobile carriers in the country have already deployed and tested their 5G services, which are now ready for consumer grade commercialization.
The source also revealed color options for both 5G (SM-F907) and 4G (SM-F900) version of the foldable phone that including Blue, Green, Silver, and Black colors. Although, there's plenty of possibilities of additional variants for this device.
Moreover, if this model is launching in South Korea, it simply means it'll also be launched in other 5G capable smartphone markets including the US.
From the specs side, the foldable features dual-screen that look like a standard smartphone when folded it is a modest 4.58-inch OLED touchscreen display phone, while unfolded it becomes a 7.3-inch tablet. Also, this foldable device will come pakced with a joint of a jumbo battery pack.
For now, Samsung is planning to go in all-out action and will reportedly launch Galaxy S10, S10(5G) and Foldable Phone together at Unpacked event scheduled on 20 Feb in San Francisco.
