One UI is to be used with the new Galaxy S9 and other devices and set to launch in a beta form this month, which will allow testers to get an early chance to try One UI ahead of the public launch in 2019.
The beta program will first start in several countries, including the USA, Germany and South Korea, which will later be expanded to China, France, India, Poland, Spain, UK.
Note: While undergoing final testing, the beta software may include errors or bugs, and may not include the same features as commercially available software.
Things to know before you become 'One UI' beta tester
Those in the USA must sign up through the Samsung+ app.
Participation in the beta program requires a Samsung account and if you don't have one create one by visiting here - https://account.samsung.com/
The One UI Beta Program may only be available to certain devices, OS, and countries. Galaxy S9/S9+ with Android 9 Pie.
Beta program period and compatible devices vary by country.
How to Register for Beta Program:
1. Become a beta tester.
Download the Samsung Members application from Galaxy Apps or the Google Play Store. After logging in, go to Notices and select “One UI Beta Program Registration” to submit an application.
2. Update Software.
Once signed up, go to Settings and then Update Software to select the Download Updates Manually option. This will allow the software to update and load the beta version.
