Let's kick off with some basic Camera settings tweak.
The Live focus feature allows the camera to capture the subject and the background separately so that users can take photos with the focus on the subject, or even modify a photo from the Gallery. The Background Blur function offers users even more creative control over their pictures, allowing them to adjust their photo’s focus by applying a variety of shapes, including a heart or star to the background.
This front camera mode allows taking selfies that focus on users face by blurring the background and adjust the user's skin tone to apply filters that make the photos look like they were taken by a professional photographer.
To use Selfie Mode: Launch Camera App -> Tap on Switch Camera -> Scroll the shooting modes list and tap 'Selfie Focus' -> Hit the capture button to take selfies.
One of the best camera feature that Samsung has ever built on a smartphone, and allows to capture dynamic, slow-motion video that captures 960 frames per second. The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ also offer automatic Motion Detection, a feature that auto detects movement in the frame and starts recording automatically as it happens.
All user have to do is set up the shot. After capturing the Super Slow-mo video, users can select background music from 35 different options. Follow the video tutorial below.
Pro mode gives users complete controls over camera features, so any user can get the very image they want. Manually adjust settings such as ISO, shutter speed, and exposure levels, express your own style with filters or adjust the white balance settings to accommodate different lighting conditions.
With Galaxy S9 and S9+, users can also create GIFs and take burst shots just tapping and holding the camera button.
Dual Aperture Camera:
As a 'Plus' variant, the Galaxy S9 Plus comes with Dual Camera, composed of a pair of 12MP cameras including an F1.5 wide-angle lens with SuperSpeed Dual Pixel image sensor, and an F2.4 telephoto lens, both lenses geared with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and capable of combining their respective images into one.
Combining an F2.4 aperture lens with an F1.5, the camera performs impressively in different lights scenario. The Dual Aperture lens automatically adjusts to light just like the human eye, letting in more light when it’s dark and less when it’s bright to produce images that are crisp and clear. Samsung’s intelligence platform, integrated into the camera, uses augmented reality and deep learning technologies to provide helpful information about a user’s surroundings. With real-time object detection and recognition, Bixby quickly generates information directly on top of the image that the camera is pointing at. Users can translate foreign languages and currency in real time with Live Translation.
AR Emoji, with this feature users, can turn a 2D selfie into a dynamic 3D avatar and choose from preloaded colorful characters or create one that looks just like them.
The personalized AR Emojis are also automatically turned into animated GIFs, these animated stickers offer a fun way to express yourself and inject personality into messages.
