Samsung Galaxy Watch said to Launch with Tizen OS on Aug. 24
A new report suggests Samsung will unveil its next smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch, alongside the Galaxy Note 9 at the Samsung Unpacked Event on Aug. 9. According to ZDNet Korea, the South Korean company would then release the Galaxy Watch on Aug. 24 alongside the Galaxy Note 9. According to the report, the company will unveil two versions of the smartwatch with different designs, sizes, and features. Further, the report says that Samsung will use the latest version of its Tizen OS (probably Tizen 4.0) for the Galaxy Watch. It directly means that the company is not thinking to switch to Google's Wear OS, at least for now.
