Samsung has revamped its Gear smartwatch series with a new name that recently revealed in a certificate listing as 'Galaxy Watch'. This Galaxy Watch has now received FCC certification and moving towards its launch.
The Galaxy Watch was certified with different model numbers including SM-R815U and SM-R815W that could be clearly seen in the FCC's exposure images below.
These two model perfectly matches to our recent report, where it was indicated that the company is planning to unveil two versions of the smartwatch with different designs, sizes, and features.
According to its FCC listing, the device also supports LTE/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity.
Recently in a report, it was indicated that Samsung will use the latest version of its Tizen OS (probably Tizen 4.0) for the Galaxy Watch. As for now, the Galaxy Watch is being speculated to launch alongside Galaxy Note 9 but there's no official statement on that available yet.
