Recently, Samsung has registered a new logo for a "Galaxy Watch" in South Korea, hinting the latest wearable from the company could tie itself into the Galaxy line of smartphones closer than ever.
Samsung is expected to showcase new smartwatches within a few months. According to the report, Samsung is expected to showcase the successor of the Gear S3 smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch, around the upcoming Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) 2018 slated for August and September.
Samsung is apparently seeking to highlight the connectivity of the new smartwatch with Galaxy smartphones. The device is expected to be powered by Google‘s Wear OS.
Other features include a bigger 470 mAh battery, blood pressure measurement, and a PLP package that’ll allow for smaller components inside the smartwatch.
Samsung is expected to offer both a Sport and a Classic variant of the Watch. Additionally, the watch will be available in black, gold, and silver.
