AT&T rolling out December 2018 security patch for Galaxy Note 8, S8 and S8 Plus

AT&T is sending out New Year gifts for Samsung Galaxy Note 8, S8, and S8+ users because the US carrier is now rolling out a new security patch for the devices.

Although we could not expect January 2019 update from the AT&T, so this update only brings December 2018 security patch, providing fixes to 40 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items.

The Galaxy Note 8 S8 and S8+ are receiving this update as build number N950USQS5CRK, G950USQS5CRL1, G955USQS5CRL1 respectively. If you want to check this update manually, head into Settings > System updates > Check for system updates or you can simply wait till the update automatically appears on your phone.
