Samsung sold 180,000 Galaxy S10 units on the first day in Korea

Samsung Galaxy S10 line is here and already available for pre-order, it soon will be available everywhere.

According to Yonhap News, the South Korean users have signed up for 180,000 Galaxy S10 units on the first day of registration.

About 140,000 Galaxy S10 smartphones were registered via Korea's mobile carriers, while some 40,000 unlocked phones were signed up on March 4, according to the carriers and Samsung Electronics. Those who activate their phones by replacing USIM cards on their own are not included in mobile carriers' plan.

The registration started four days in advance of the flagship smartphone's official launch of three variants -- Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+.

As Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy S10 5G later this month and release its first foldable device, Galaxy Fold, supporting 5G networks in mid-May in the Korean market.
