While users of the Galaxy Note 8 receiving Android Pie all around the world, Verizon and Sprint sending February security patch for this smartphone and probably extends the timeline of the official pie rollout.
This latest update for Galaxy Note 8 brings February 2019 security patch that provides fixes to 12 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures. Also, the update installs bug fixes and stability improvements.
This update for Galaxy Note 8 is rolling out with software version N950USQS5CSA1, which is same for both carriers. If you want to check this update, please head into Setting > Software Update.
Both of these carriers also rolled out the February security patch for Galaxy S8 and S8+, as both flagships are preparing to get Android Pie over the air in this month.
