Samsung has announced that the company is working with Calm, an app for sleep, meditation, and relation with over 40 million downloads, and will provide consumers access to these services via Samsung Health app.
The features that come with new integration comes with easy setup and takes few taps. To use these new features, consumers need to tap on "Mindfulness" icon in their Samsung Health app, then follow the step to sync or create their Calm account, after completing these steps users can access Calm meditation and other programmes in Samsung Health.
Since its launch in 2013, Samsung Health is known for its health and wellness solutions. The app is now with over 60 million monthly active users, that includes interactive health and mental wellbeing features across a range of Samsung and non-Samsung devices. And with this huge upgrade, Samsung health can provide more health solution to the consumers.
Starting from March 4, the service will initially be available with Samsung smartphones running Android Pie OS, including the new Galaxy S10 line, in 10 markets: Australia, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, U.S., U.K., and Ireland. The Calm integration will be also available to Galaxy Watch Active users.
The latest Samsung Health app can be downloaded via the Samsung Galaxy Store or Google Play Store.
