We saw recently that T-Mobile was testing the Android Pie update for Galaxy Note 9 and now the carrier has finally finished testing the update and started pushing the build for its consumers.
This update for the Note 9 brings Android 9.0 Pie OS, Samsung’s ‘One UI’ features and user interface, and the February 2019 security patch with various bug fixes.
Just like the S9 devices, T-mobile has also added some new features and improvements in this build including - New e911 call flow, Compass calibration fix and BYOD update.
T-Mobile is rolling out this update with build version N960USQU1CSB3 for the Note 9, as it weighs at 1867.41MB. You can also check for the update manually by heading into the Settings > Software updates > Download updates Manually.
Note: After updating to Android 9.0 Pie/One UI, some apps, including Calculator, Samsung Internet, Samsung Health, Samsung Notes, Samsung Members, and Samsung Pay, need to be updated individually.
