Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+ display are unique on its own and it's another uniqueness is its Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner that's embedded right into the screen and leads barriers for third-party screen protectors that'll not work with these flagship phones but Samsung has planned some else and come up with its own solution for this issue.
Through the community post, Samsung has announced that it will ship its own homemade pre-installed screen protectors with the S10 and S10+ phone that are fully compatible with the on-screen fingerprints of these flagships.
"This is applicable for all global subsidiaries and for all variants of Galaxy S10. This decision was made to increase overall customer experiences with the improved screen durability and full functionality of the Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor on Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+." said Samsung.
The notice does say the pre-installed screen protector will not be covered by any warranty, and other accessories will remain under regular 1-year warranty (including Travel Adapter, USB connector, and AKG headset).
Samsung mentioned that it will suggest this screen protector for carriers and retail partners to carry Samsung branded screen protector as a replacement purchase which will cost $29.99.
Although, there's no news on Galaxy S10e because it comes with a flat-screen panel and no in display fingerprint sensor.
