Samsung is rolling out the Android 9.0 Pie for Galaxy S8 and S8+ that brings the latest OS and Samsung’s One UI interface with multiple new features. As for now, the update is currently expanding in countries listed below, we’ll also update this list as the rollout expands further.
The software version is G950FXXU4DSBA and G955FXXU4DSBA for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ respectively, this build version is subject to change on carrier locked devices. For Oreo users, it comes in a full package. While beta testers receiving it as a patch to be added in the current One UI build.
This update new update brings Android 9.0 Pie OS, Samsung’s ‘One UI’ features and user interface, and the February 2019 security patch with various bug fixes.
To download the update, go to the Settings on your phone, Then Software update menu, and tap Download updates manually.
