Galaxy Note 8 getting second One UI Beta update

Samsung is now rolling out the second One UI beta update for the Galaxy Note 8 users that bring several fixes and improvements. It includes the January 2019 security patch. The update is now available in India.

The update is currently rolling out with build version N950FXXU5ZSAB, while the size of the update is 705.62 MB.

How to register for One UI beta testing and when will it be available

You can check for the update manually by heading into the Settings > Software updates > Download updates manually. This will allow the software to update and load the beta version.



Changelog:

  • Camera app gets force closed and screen stops when use the slow motion or super slow motion
  • Contact name is not applied to list after editing
  • Location Tag error
  • ANR occurs when switch to selfie in panorama
  • When start security, screen gets frozen after inputting the pin number
  • Camera preview screen appears blurred and when touch the screen, there is no response
  • Recently downloaded music disappears (External SD card recognition issue)
  • When save to SD while using the Samsung internet, file is not downloaded
  • Unknown file appears in Myfile- Download folder
  • It is overlaps with the status bar when set ‘setting-view option- Date and location’ of gallery
