Major mobile carriers in the US has already announced their 5G smartphone with Samsung, while the launch of Foldable phone possibly happening in next month but before the official launch, here are some useful information about these two devices.
According to Dutch website GalaxyClub, Samsung’s foldable phone will feature two 3100 mAh batteries on each side of the fold making it a sum of 6200mAh and the 5G variant of the Samsung Galaxy S10 will be equipped with a battery capacity of 5000 mAh.
Source also revealed that the Foldable Phone (SM-F900) batteries carry the product codes EB-BF900ABA and EB-BF901ABA respectively. each one is identical to the EB-BG970ABU which will be featured in the entry-level version of the Galaxy S10.
For the 5G Galaxy S10 (SM-G977), Samsung probably chose this battery size due to the power consumption rate that will be increased because of the 5G network transmission, which takes a lot more data and consumes more power of the actual device.
Both phones are packed with huge battery life and new technologies, so it will not be a big surprise if Samsung goes a little expensive in terms of pricing and will be launched in the limited market.
Although the release of Foldable phone was first expected during MWC 19, now it’s indicated that the phone will probably launch alongside S10 series on Feb 20. Also, the launch of the 5G phone may be happening in March because of the network installment in planned regions.
