Samsung Galaxy S10 series is reportedly being developed in three different variant featuring different specs and new features including its new triple camera system, which is expected to be installed in the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+.
According to ETNews, Samsung’s subsidiary Samsung Electron-Mechanics (SEMCO) has been chosen to supply camera modules for Galaxy S10’s triple camera system and it’s also reported that these camera modules are consists of a dual camera and an ultra wide-angle camera.
The Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S9+ and Note 9 features dual rear camera setup with wide angle cam and the Galaxy A7 with Triple and A9 Quad cameras with ultra wide angle lens. So it will be a good decision to introduce a separate high-quality ultra wide angle lens in the S10 series.
Also, with the introduction of Triple camera system in the Galaxy S10 phones, the demand for camera module is expected to increase significantly next year, which will be a beneficial deal for SEMCO.
