Samsung launches the Galaxy A8s, the world’s first in-display camera phone

Samsung has announced the Galaxy A8s in China, a smartphone built for those who love to explore, capture the moment and share it as they see it.

The pioneering Galaxy A8s debuts the world’s first in-display camera and is packed with features designed to help you live each day to the fullest.

The Galaxy A8s supports the new generation of Bixby and the 3.5mm jack missing, because the headphone is now be plugged in charging port.

The Galaxy A8s features a 6.39-inch FHD+ (2340×1080) Infinity-O screen with a hole in the top corner to feature a camera under the display. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 – 2.2 GHz Octa-Core Processor, 6/8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage (Not expandable).

In the camera department, the Galaxy A8s come with triple-camera setup, 24MP (F1.7) + 5MP (F2.2) Depth Cam+ 10MP AF Telephoto. There is a 24MP (F2.0) camera on the front of the device. Also, Samsung Galaxy A8s is equipped with Samsung Experience 9.5 based on Android 8.1.0.

The dimensions are 158.4×74.9×7.4 (mm), weight is 173 grams, 6/8GB of RAM, 128GB internal storage. It also has a Gravity sensor, distance sensor, light sensor, fingerprint recognition.

The phone features a 3300mAh battery and supports dual-sim card. It’s available in the gradient color of – Elf Blue, Aurora Black, Alien Silver.

Samsung Galaxy A8s Elf Blue, Aurora Black, Alien Silver provides 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version. The Elf Blue color also comes with an 8GB RAM+128G storage version.

For now, the phone is currently on prebooking in China but there’s no information on the price of the device.
