Samsung said its 8K QLED TV model ‘Q900R’ received an evaluation score of 949 points from the German magazine, which is the highest ever grade awarded to a television.
The QLED 8K TV received awards in three category – ‘Reference’, ‘Innovation’ and ‘Highlight’. Where ‘Reference’ stands for the highest quality product, ‘Innovation’ is the product with excellent innovation, and ‘Highlight’ stands for a product that is worthy of notable products.
“TVs through the immersive 8K resolution and the High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology, with a whopping brightness of 4,000 nits,” said the evaluator ‘Video’.
The Q900R features ‘Real 8K Resolution’ capable of 4,000 nit peak brightness and creates 8K quality images. This feature allows TV to produce four times more pixels than a 4K UHD TV and 16 times more pixels than a full HD TV.
Samsung also said, after its launch in October, the 8K QLED TV has been receiving an amazing response from global evaluators and expected to lead the premium TV market into a new direction.
