Launched in 2017, Samsung’s rugged Galaxy Tab Active 2 entered in the market with Android 7.1.1 Nougat and now it’s confirmed that the device will soon receive Android Oreo.
Recently, several Samsung device with the model number SM-T390 (Wi-Fi), SM-T395 (LTE), SM-T395N (LTE) and SM-T395C has received Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA) certificate with Android 8.0 Oreo onboard. These models have been identified as 2017’s Galaxy Tab Active 2 (spotted by TheAndroidSoul).
As for now, there’s no exact date available for the Android 8.0 Oreo rollout on Galaxy Tab Active 2 but it could begin any time soon.
