Folks, are you ready for the world’s first quadruple-camera smartphone? Well, we are hearing rumors about an upcoming Samsung phone, the Galaxy A9 (2018) that would include quadruple-camera setup on the back.
Now we have our first look at the Samsung’s Galaxy A9 (2018) smartphone with four cameras, thanks to tipster Evan Blass, who has posted an image of the smartphone which also details the quadruple-camera setup.
In the image, you can see four vertically-mounted cameras – the device design shares a lot in common with the Galaxy A7, Samsung’s first triple-camera smartphone.
According to the image, the phone will have a 24MP OIS-enabled f/1.7 main shooter, a 5MP f/2.2 depth camera with live focus, an 8MP f/2.4 ultra-wide camera (120-degree field of view), and a 10MP f/2.4 telephoto camera (2x zoom).
The device is expected to come with a Snapdragon 660 SoC, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage, a 6.3-inch AMOLED screen (full HD+), a 24MP selfie camera, a 3,800mAh battery, and USB Type-C connectivity with fast charging. Also, Android 8.0 Oreo will be on board.
