Galaxy Note 8 September update brings AR Emoji, Super Slow-Mo video recording

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is now receiving its September 2018 security patch but not only that the device is receiving two much-anticipated camera features that Note 8 users have been waiting for.

Alongside the new security patch and bug fixes, the update installs two new functionalities to the camera – AR Emoji and Super Slow-Motion video recording.

Samsung has reportedly begun developing the Galaxy Note 10 and given it the codename ‘Da Vinci’

AR Emoji allows users to turn a 2D selfie into a dynamic 3D avatar and that can be chosen from preloaded colorful characters or create one that looks just like them. As we talk about Super Slow-Mo, with this feature users can capture dynamic, slow-motion video up to 960 frames per second, that looks extremely awesome.
