As we look at the specs, the Galaxy J2 Core features a 5 inch TFT display with a resolution of 540 x 960, powered by Exynos 7570, 1GB RAM + 8GB RAM (microSD support), a 2,600 mAh battery, with an 8-megapixel rear camera along with 5-megapixel selfie camera.
The device comes with Android Go (Android Oreo 8.1) and it’s currently revealed in Gold color, there’s a huge possibility for other color options later.
“The Galaxy J2 Core offers a complete smartphone experience, incorporating some of the key features available on high-end devices with an improved battery, storage, and performance that is particularly appealing to first time owners,” said Junho Park, Vice President of Global Product Planning, Mobile Communications Business at Samsung Electronics.
The Galaxy J2 Core will initially be available in Malaysia and India beginning August 24th, 2018 and expand to additional markets in the near future. Price of the device is not revealed at the moment but it’s expected to be below INR 7000 ($100).
