Samsung released the latest edition of its Android-powered multifunction printer MultiXpress

Samsung has released the latest edition of its Android-powered multifunction printer MultiXpress, which comes with the improved design for business environments.

The MultiXpress 4 Renovation (MX4-R) comes with a 10.1-inch touch display. With the device running on the Android platform, users can directly print without having to connect it with computers.

It will come with a white body, with the paper drawer being located on the side for a simpler look. It will be released in color and a black-and-white version. Each version will come with three different editions.


The MX4-R boasts a maximum printing speed of 120 sheets in black and white and 100 sheets in color per minute. The color edition also comes with 10% higher cartridge capacity than its predecessor, with that of the black-and-white product being 17% higher.

The product comes with the CounThru solution that helps users manage different printing devices, along with the SecuThru program, which enhances security for confidential information.

Samsung showcased the MultiXpress series in 2014, which grabbed the market’s attention as the industry’s first smart printer running on Android.
