Samsung’s 4-year old Galaxy Note 4 getting a new software update

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was unveiled at IFA Berlin in September 2014 and was released globally in October 2014.

Now, almost 4 years after the release, the device is now getting a new software update. We can see in the screenshot below (via galaxyclub), the power consumption is optimized.

The performance and stability of the device further improved. The Android security patch remains the same, August 2017 security patch.

The Galaxy Note 4 software version is N910FXXU1DRF1. The update size is 224.14MB, which is currently rolling in the European country.

To check for these updates, head into Settings>About phone>Software updates.
