Samsung could unveil Galaxy X at CES, S10 at MWC 2019

The South Korean company has postponed the launch of the foldable phone (aka Galaxy X) for a few years, but 2019 looks like the year when we’ll get three Samsung flagship series rather than two.

According to the leaker Ice universe – a well-known Samsung leaker – the Galaxy X will arrive at CES 2019 January, while the Samsung Galaxy S10 will be unveiled at MWC 2019, which takes place in February.

The MWC is a bigger event for phones, and as exciting as the Galaxy X might be it’s the Galaxy S10 which will probably be Samsung’s main flagship for the year, so it’s probably a better fit for the bigger show.

Recent reports claimed that parts for the foldable Galaxy X are already in the making. While the Galaxy S10 design was reportedly finalized earlier this year with three cameras for the Plus version, an on-screen fingerprint scanner, and facial recognition.

Several reports have previously said that the Samsung Galaxy S10 will be unveiled at CES 2019 in January, rather than in February at MWC. That report said that the South Korean company has a different device in mind for its MWC announcement, the foldable Galaxy X.
