Samsung Galaxy S10 is the current buzz in Samsung’s talktown because it’s speculated to be packed with most anticipated features and rumored design specs. But what makes a phone powerful from inside? yeah its SoC, let’s move further and dive into S10’s possible SoC variants.

Just as previous S-Series devices the Galaxy S10 will also be coming in two processor variant first with Exynos chip and another with Snapdragon chip. But this time the company could make it more special than any other Samsung device because it’s gonna feature 7nm units to Galaxy S10.

Recently Samsung and Qualcomm announced their partnership with the next-gen Snapdragon 855 chipset, which will use the same 7nm process that Qualcomm will be using for its pre-5G Snapdragon X24 LTE modem.

The X24 LTE modem will end up on the Snapdragon 855 chipset and eventually on the Galaxy S10, will also be gonna feature 5G network capability, which promises the S10 could become the base of Samsung’s new 5G community Standards.

Besides the 5G connectivity, the 7nm-made Snapdragon 855 also promises “up to a 40 percent increase in area efficiency with 10 percent higher performance, or up to 35 percent lower power consumption.”

According to Roland Quandt from Twitter, that Qualcomm has already begun development of SD855 and mass production is set for early next year. Though Qualcomm shows signs that it could turn back to TSMC for 7nm production but still unconfirmed.

Now the Samsung’s own Exynos processor, in recent time the company has also started working on its new chip for upcoming Flagship as ‘Exynos 9820’. This new chip features powerful & efficient’ Mongoose 4 CPU and will also be support 5G connectivity.

According to a source, the Mongoose 4 CPU will be powerful than the ARM Cortex-A76 CPU in terms of both performance and energy efficiency. Though there is no additional information available about this chip.
