This leak does lineup with older leaks of the Galaxy S9 Plus quite nicely. The “cottage version” of Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus is seen in pictures below.
The images was recently shared to the Chinese social network Weibo - although it warns 'it looks genuine enough, but you should take it with a grain of salt for now.'
Now it’s important to remember that these pictures could very well be faked, or even of an older and not final prototype of the device.
The first thing you will notice that the display while having rounded corners is really bad. The frames are huge, too thick frames. In the back the double camera is really strange.
According to previous report, the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will become available for pre-orders on March 1, three days after making its premiere official appearance at this year’s iteration of the MWC in Barcelona, Spain. Samsung will start selling the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus on March 16th.
A February 26th announcement is in line with Samsung’s own confirmation that the Galaxy S9 series is planned for an MWC 2018 launch, with that particular date marking the start of the world’s largest annual mobile industry trade show.
In 2017, the Galaxy S8 arrived a month later than usual, but this time the Samsung is getting back to its 2016 release frames.
