Exclusive: Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus photos leak just a day before Samsung’s announcement

We’ve seen the leaks, the press images, and the AR images of the Galaxy S9 smartphones that practically confirm the phones design. So it’s time to check out real-life images of a functional Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus that were posted online with just a day to go until Samsung unveils the new flagship phone.

The following set of images comes from an Instagram user, Alex Ben (@vnas_world), had early access to a Galaxy S9. That’s hardly surprising considering the large number of people who’ve already tried the phones ahead of its launch, posting revealing details about it online. As we can see, the Galaxy S9 will come with single lens camera on the back, while the Galaxy S9 Plus will boost dual lens.

In the gallery down below, you will be able to see both the front and back sides of the Galaxy S9 smartphones, and even some icons for the new apps (AR Emoji, Super Slow-Mo.) Also the screen clearly lists the device’s name while it boots up. It’s a Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus “secured by Knox,” and “powered by Android.”

The back side of the handsets should put all your worries to rest. The camera and fingerprint sensor setup is different. We no longer have an awkward position for the fingerprint sensor, which was located next on the right side of the camera on the Galaxy S8. Instead, the sensor has been moved below the rear camera. On the right side of both smartphones, sits a power and lock key, while the volume up/down and Bixby buttons are located on the left.

The smaller Galaxy S9 is expected to sport 4GB RAM, while the bigger Galaxy S9 Plus will come with 6GB RAM. The smartphones will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo pre-installed along with Samsung’s Experience UI 9.0.

Samsung going to introduce the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus tomorrow. The company will announce these two phones during its event in Barcelona, MWC 2018.
